FAQs about Balder Power's Server Rack LiFePO4 Battery

Q1: Can I mix Balder Power rack batteries with my old lead-acid batteries?

A: It is not recommended. Mixing LiFePO4 with Lead-Acid batteries can lead to charging issues and reduced system performance due to different voltage curves and internal resistance. We suggest replacing the entire bank for optimal efficiency.

Q2: Will these batteries communicate with my Victron / Deye inverter?

A: Yes. Our BMS supports multiple protocols. For Victron, we use CAN bus protocol; for Deye/Growatt, we support both CAN and RS485. Simply select the corresponding protocol via the DIP switches or software settings.

Q3: Do I need a server rack cabinet to use these batteries?

A: Not necessarily. While they are designed for standard 19-inch racks, you can also stack them using simple brackets or place them on shelves. However, a server rack cabinet is recommended for better cable management and safety.

Q4: What is the maximum number of modules I can connect in parallel?

A: Our standard BMS supports up to 16 units in parallel (e.g., 16 x 5.12kWh = 81.92kWh). For larger commercial projects requiring more capacity, please contact us for our High-Voltage or Cluster Hub solutions. base, and they connect automatically without external wires between modules. This "Lego-style" installation saves up to 50% of installation time and reduces the risk of manual wiring errors.

Q5: What is the warranty policy for B2B orders?

A: We offer a standard 5-year warranty, upgradeable to 10 years upon request. For wholesale and OEM partners, we provide spare parts (BMS, cables) and technical training support.
